A federal government department focused on skills, training and employment is looking for Senior Cloud Engineers to join their multidisciplinary delivery teams. You'll be embedded in agile squads, writing clean and scalable code across Microsoft Azure and .NET environments, bridging cloud and on-premises systems. The work is enterprise-scale and genuinely complex, with a mix of greenfield and integration projects.
About you
- Solid experience as a Cloud Engineer in an enterprise environment, working with Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies
- Comfortable working in fast-paced agile delivery teams, including sprint planning and estimation
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL or another object-oriented language
- Familiarity with REST APIs / Microsoft Web API
- Experience with CI/CD practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance (essential)
- Initial 12-month contract starting 1 July 2026, with up to 2 x 12-month extensions
- Hybrid working, at least 3 days onsite per week
- Locations across most Australian states and territories
