The role
This federal government department is expanding its OneIdentity Manager (OneIM) platform and needs senior developers to design and build the next wave of enhancements. That means RBAC improvements, better management of machine accounts, and expanding system integrations to widen the account and access management footprint. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, architects and the support team to take requirements through design, configuration, build, test and deployment. Real delivery, not strategy decks.

About you
  • Strong hands-on experience with One Identity Manager (OneIM / Quest One Identity), including value templates, condition scripts and process tasks
  • Solid VB.NET and C#/.NET skills, with a track record of building integrations between IGA platforms and enterprise systems like HR, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange
  • Comfortable building and maintaining custom web portals and UI extensions in Angular and TypeScript
  • Good understanding of IAM governance: RBAC, segregation of duties, privileged access, access certification, audit and compliance reporting
  • Exposure to Australian government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight) is a big plus
  • Australian citizen, able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance (existing NV1 or Baseline is ideal)
  • Happy to mentor less experienced IGA specialists and contribute to shared documentation
The offer
  • 12-month contract plus two 12-month extension options
  • Onsite in the Canberra office, EL1 equivalent senior role
  • Estimated start date mid-May 2026
  • Work on a mature OneIM environment with genuine enhancement scope, not a greenfield rebuild
