The Role

This growing construction technology company is transforming how teams manage inspections, assets, and project workflows through modern software.
As a Product Designer, you’ll be embedded within a cross-functional product team, owning problems end-to-end - from discovery through to delivery. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with engineers, customer success, and stakeholders to deeply understand complex industry challenges and translate them into simple, effective product solutions.
You’ll focus on improving core platform functionality, driving retention, and reducing churn through meaningful product improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and solve complex product problems from discovery to delivery
  • Work directly with customers on-site to understand real-world workflows
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to shape product direction
  • Design and iterate on core features (e.g. inspections, asset workflows)
  • Contribute to improving product usability, adoption, and retention
  • Present ideas, gather feedback, and drive alignment across teams
About You
  • 3–6+ years experience in product design, UX, or similar
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills (this is key)
  • Able to break down complex problems and propose clear solutions
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly
  • Product-minded - motivated to build, ship, and improve outcomes
  • Experience in complex domains (e.g. SaaS, fintech, construction, logistics) is beneficial
Nice to have:
  • Background in construction or similar industries
  • Previous experience in product management or research-heavy roles
The Offer
  • Mid–Senior level role
  • Compensation up to $150k depending on experience
  • Hybrid: 2–3 days in Melbourne office
