This company operates a global SaaS platform used by some of the world's largest enterprises. With ~300 people globally and an engineering team of 30–40, they've grown fast through smart acquisitions and market expansion. They're now hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to own critical legs of that growth - each responsible for a regional deployment, driving legacy migrations and keeping clients integrated and running.
You'll become the internal expert on your assigned systems - cataloguing data, identifying gaps, and driving migrations into their modern AWS platform. You'll join client calls, distil what's regional versus what belongs on the global roadmap, and get clients integrated and running. It's part infrastructure, part integration plumbing, part technical account management and you'll own all of it.
About you:
- You use AI in your day-to-day workflow and can talk concretely about how
- Strong communicator comfortable in stakeholder-heavy environments; a professional services or consultant background is a real advantage
- Experienced with systems integration
- Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation) and AWS
- Enough Windows/IIS background to confidently support and assess an existing platform during migration
- Experience with one or more of: Go, Python, Java, Kubernetes
- Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you juggle priorities and find the right MVP scope
