About the role
You'll join a small, engineering-led team to deliver features end to end across a React frontend and an Elixir backend. You'll make pragmatic technical decisions and own projects from concept to release.
Behind the scenes this is a seriously automated operation. Factory quoting, bidding systems, Shopify integrations, and now vending machine infrastructure. It doesn't look complicated from the outside, but there's a lot going on. You'll learn the business as you go, and the team will support you through that ramp-up.
AI is part of how everyone on the team works. You'll be expected to use it day to day.

About you

  • Mid-to-senior or senior full stack developer. Comfortable on both sides of the stack.
  • Strong React, JavaScript and CSS, with solid frontend instincts (the tech assessment is in JavaScript)
  • Backend experience in any language. Elixir is a bonus, willingness to learn is enough.
  • You use AI tools every day and know how to get the most out of them
  • Comfortable diving into existing codebases, triaging issues, and shipping pragmatic solutions.
  • You figure things out. You know where to look, who to ask, and when to just move.
  • Autonomous, outcome-focused, and happy to balance polish with delivery.
The offer
  • Fully remote & flexible working within Australia
  • Competitive salary package
  • Fortnightly Breakfast/Lunch & Learn (the team presents on the business, lunch is on the company).
  • In-person team meetups every 3 to 6 months. Yearly international trip for company holiday party.
  • Wide project variety: e-commerce, manufacturing and wholesale systems, Shopify integrations, vending machine infrastructure
  • Small team, high impact. Ship meaningful work with plenty of freedom and ownership.
