The Role
 
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll take frontier AI research and apply it to real-world operations. This isn’t a back-office role — you’ll be on the ground, shoulder-to-shoulder with operators, identifying high-impact problems and designing systems that change how work gets done.
You’ll balance immediate impact with longer-term platform thinking — sometimes delivering a quick win that removes friction overnight, and other times architecting durable, reusable systems that enable transformation at scale.

You’ll need to be fluent in the latest research and technologies, commercially minded, and fast-moving. Success isn’t just measured by code shipped — it’s measured by the tangible enterprise value you create.

What You’ll Do

• Embed within acquired businesses to uncover where frontier AI can unlock transformational value.
  
  
• Translate the latest AI research and technologies into systems that accelerate adoption and reshape industry operations.
  
  
• Balance rapid impact with long-term scalability — deciding when to deploy quick solutions versus building foundational platforms.
  
  
• Evolve prototypes into resilient automation, intelligence, and analytics services that strengthen the overall AI platform.
  
  
• Own projects end-to-end — from insight to design to production — always focused on measurable business impact.
  
  

• Deep into AI. You’ve built with LLMs or ML, know what’s hype and what’s real, and have shipped something that actually worked. You ship code daily and amplify your impact using AI development tools.
  
  
• Full-stack scrappy. Python, APIs, cloud, front-end, back-end — you move fluidly across the stack.
  
  
• Product-minded. You design for adoption, care about usability and ROI, and ensure your work delivers real value.
  
  
• Curious and relentless. You learn fast, dive deep into new domains, and don’t stop until something is live.
  
  
• Sydney-based. We’re currently prioritising team members who can collaborate in-person multiple days per week.
