Lead Data Engineer

The role
We're looking for a Lead Data Engineer with strong Python and Pandas experience. The product you'll work on delivers an essential service with a significant positive impact on workers across Australia. You'll lead our data team and play a key role in shaping our data strategy. Your time will be split between new initiatives (including migrating our platform to Dagster) and client project work. You'll have the flexibility to work from home or from our Sydney office.
  
About you
You have solid experience in Python and have used it in building ETL for large datasets. You have experience with Pandas and data analytics. You have strong experience in writing well-tested code and deploying your work using CI/CD. You've led teams and initiatives in your past roles, and know how to communicate with stakeholders at different levels.
