Senior Front End Engineer (contract)

The role
‍Join cross-functional teams to develop and support patterns, practices, libraries, frameworks, and platforms. Work with modern reactive JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js. Collaborate with interaction/UI designers and a11y experts to achieve the best outcomes for multiple stakeholders.

About you
‍You’re an experienced frontend developer with a strong background in modern JavaScript frameworks. You care about accessibility and usability and have experience designing and building for accessibility. You enjoy learning, teaching, and helping others build capability. You have experience with full stack or end-to-end product development and are comfortable with Azure and Microsoft back-end application frameworks.

Essential‍

• Experience developing public-facing web applications using JavaScript/Typescript, vite, webpack, npm, pnpm.
• Proficiency in modern reactive frontend frameworks including Vue, React, Lit, Svelte, Stencil, etc.
• Experience building and/or using design system component libraries.
• Strong skills in delivering accessible user experiences and unit/automated UI testing.
• Must be an Australian Citizen, able to obtain baseline clearance

The offer‍

• Work from home or in lovely offices
• Daily rate up to $930 including super
• Initial contract to 30 June 2025, with a possible 12-month extension
