The Role
Join a high-impact team as an Interaction Designer, contributing to significant digital projects aimed at enhancing Australia's trade and biosecurity systems. Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to design the experience of digital services that meet user needs. Bring a human/computer interaction focus to the design of services, led by user research and usability testing. Hybrid working in either Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Melbourne offices.
About You
- Extensive experience in web and mobile interface design.
- Strong experience in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in evidence-based design and prototyping.
- Ability to prototype in code (HTML and CSS) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of designing for users with accessibility needs.
- Expert knowledge of working with and contributing to design systems.
- Hybrid working arrangements in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Melbourne.
- Daily rate up to $1100 per day.
- Contract until 30th June 2025 followed by 1 x 12-month extension.
