The Role
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to influence, guide, and uplift engineering practices while balancing delivery goals across multiple teams. As an Engineering Lead, you will drive strategies in test automation, DevOps, and reliable engineering. This role offers a unique opportunity to improve engineering performance and transition product development from project-based delivery to sustainment. Hybrid working in either Canberra or Sydney offices.
  
About You
You're an experienced Engineering Lead who excels in guiding and uplifting engineering practices. You have a proven track record in test automation, DevOps, and improving engineering performance. You enjoy fostering a developer community and transitioning product development from project-based delivery to sustainment. Your technical expertise with TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Azure, MS SQL, and ORMs such as Prisma sets you apart.
  
Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience influencing and guiding engineering practices across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in test automation, DevOps, and reliable engineering strategies.
  • Proven ability to improve engineering performance.
  • Experience transitioning product development from project-based delivery to sustainment.
  • Strong skills in fostering a developer community.
 
  The Offer
  • Daily rate up to $1300 per day.
  • Initial 12-month contract followed by 1 x 12-month extension.
  • Hybrid working arrangements in Canberra or Sydney
