Senior Software Engineer

The role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll report into the Head of Engineering and you will work in a close Engineering team to deliver new features and optimise existing capabilities. A typical day will involve:
- Delivering high quality code backed by extensive tests / specs
- Working closely with business owners to understand and implement features that add value to their customers
- Creating & Reviewing Change Requests outlining outlining end-to-end solutions when delivering features
About you
You'll need to have strong experience shaping and implementing scalable web applications, ideally using Ruby On Rails. You'll also have a solid understanding of SQL and demonstrable ability to tune relational DB backed code. You should be comfortable writing specs with RSpec, as well as working AWS systems and technologies. It's a massive bonus if you have experience working in payments.
