The role
Help this startup maintain and improve their infrastructure needed for their analytics platform to scale. Set up monitoring to enable data based decision making. Help optimise their Kubernetes cluster, CICD pipelines, infrastructure as code with Terraform and maintain servers used for ML and Ai workloads at a co-located data centre.
About you
You're a senior systems engineer with a mix of Cloud + SRE + Networking + Sysadmin experience. You enjoy working autonomously and making technical decisions and are working towards a leadership role. You've worked with large amounts of data and have experience working in a 'scale up' where you have been the dedicated infrastructure engineer working with a team of developers and data scientists. You enjoy learning new technologies and solving AI scaling issues, in particular with NVIDIA DGX and Oracle Cloud.
The offer
- Annual salary approx. $180k -200k base (with stock options available)
- Training and professional development budget/support
- Work remotely from VIC, NSW or QLD and attend the Melbourne office as needed, or work hybrid from the Melbourne office
