I’m excited to announce that Fiona is now partner at Lookahead.
Anyone who knows us will see this as a super obvious step. Fi is a huge part of who we are and truly lives our values. She’s part of the community, focused on helping people, and incredibly dedicated to her work.
After joining us in November 2015 in what was a career experiment, it’s been amazing to see her shine. We’re very lucky to have her as a friend and colleague for all these years.
As partner, Fiona will manage others. She will also help the clients of ours who need to scale up quickly, with a retained offering that combines the best parts of internal and agency recruitment.
There’s a good lesson in career management here too: promotions don’t need to be accepted right away. Partnership was offered in late 2018 but the timing wasn’t right. Takes a lot of self awareness and courage to do that.
