Become an approved sponsor

Make sure your company is an approved sponsor. Do the paperwork before you need to, so you're ready when that dream candidate comes along who needs sponsorship.

Let's talk about money

At September's installment of the SydTech Leaders meetup, the topic of the evening was remuneration.

No time to onboard?

One of the common complaints I’ve heard from startups is that there’s never enough time to onboard new employees. Hand them a computer and off they go. We’re here to get sh*t done. Right? Wrong!

How to run a good interview

When it comes to running an interview, there aren't necessarily right or wrong ways. However, there are certainly some things you can do to make sure you give candidates a good experience.

457 Visa superseded by the new 482 Visa

Last month saw the 457 Temporary Work Skilled Visa replaced by the new Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) subclass 482 Visa. 457 visa grants for Developer Programmers are down 41.5% and Software Engineer are down 18.1%. For now, employers who do sponsor have a huge competitive advantage.
